Abstract (EN)
In this study, 4 different hippuric acid derivatives were synthesized. Condensations were carried out with 2 aldehydes to obtain 8 different oxazol-5-one derivatives. All synthesized derivatives were purified and crystallized, and the structures were confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT-IR spectroscopic methods. The photophysical properties of the derivatives were analysed by taking the absorption, emission and excitation spectra of the derivatives in solvents with different polarities. Also responses of derivatives to pH in PVC matrix were determined by taking absorption, emission and excitation spectra in acid solutions at different pHs, in addition, biological activities of the synthesized compounds were analyzed with cytotoxic applications.
