Abstract (EN)

This study aims to determine the impact of transformational leadership on organizational trust and organizational identification among young people working in various non-governmental organizations operating in Türkiye, with a focus on İstanbul. Transformational leadership is important for non-governmental organizations because it inspires individuals, motivates them, and supports a shared vision. Studies have shown that transformational leadership is a significant determinant of organizational trust and organizational identification. By promoting transparency, support, and a common vision, transformational leadership enhances organizational trust. It also strengthens organizational identification by aligning personal values with the goals of the organization. Non-governmental organizations rely on the energy, creativity, and long-term engagement of young people. Therefore, examining the impact of transformational leadership from the perspective of young employees is essential to understand the extent to which they trust the organization and identify with it. The study was conducted with the participation of 460 people between the ages of 18-25. Participants were determined by the convenience sampling method; data were collected by the survey method; data processing and analysis were done with the SPSS program. The results supporting that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational trust and organizational identification were obtained in the study.
