Abstract (EN)
Sustainable management is an issue that is frequently emphasized and gaining importance. The fact that the natural environment is difficult to recycle and this destruction affects the whole world has led businesses to become sustainable businesses by taking on various responsibilities. In this context, this thesis has been put forward in order to analyze the perceptions of managers about the impact of external environmental pressure on sustainable management practices. In this context; In February-June 2019, the results obtained by using the survey technique were obtained from 120 managers in the enterprises operating in Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone with more than 10 employees. Sampling method is easily sampled in the research and the sample covers the whole population. The data were analyzed with SPSS 25.0 package program. According to the results of this study, the impact of customer pressure on sustainable management practices was found to be high. It was determined that the opinions of the managers regarding the impact of non-governmental organizations, one of the external environmental pressures, on sustainable management practices were low. It was determined that the opinions of the managers regarding the impact of non-governmental organizations, one of the external environmental pressures, on sustainable management practices were low. The impact of social media pressure, one of the external environmental pressures, on sustainable management practices was found to be higher than the managers in the scope of the research. In the research, the effect of law pressure, one of the external environmental pressures, on sustainable management practices; According to the opinions of the managers participating in the research was found to be high level. In this study, the effect of competition and imitation pressure, which is the last of the external environmental pressures, on sustainable management practices; According to the opinions of the managers participating in the research was found to be high. The opinions of the managers within the scope of the research on the effect of external environmental pressures on sustainable management practices among women-men, upper-middle level managers, age difference or business managers with or without environmental management certificate are at the same level statistically, there is no difference.
