Abstract (EN)

Recently, organizations are beginning to adopt outsourcing services as a strategy to improve performance. This present study investigated the impact of outsourcing services on organizational performance in Nigeria's oil and gas sector. The study's objectives were to examine the impact of outsourcing services on organizational performance in the oil and gas sector in Nigeria and evaluate the impact of customer satisfaction and service user trust on organizational performance. The study formulated four hypotheses to measure outsourcing services and organizational performance. The study data were extracted from secondary resources and analyzed to suit the study objectives. The study's findings revealed that organizations need to outsource services that are non-critical to expertise eternal service providers to increase efficiency, customer satisfaction, productivity, service user trust, and organizational performance, which will keep them winning in the competitive market. The study concluded that organizations should outsource some of their operations to allow them to focus on their key competencies and ensure customer satisfaction and build service users' trust. Recommendations were based on how organizations can increase performance through outsourcing services, attain customer satisfaction and build service users' trust.
