Abstract (EN)
Within the scope of this thesis, it is aimed to determine the dynamic changes that occur in reinforced concrete buildings due to explosion. For this purpose, variable parameters such as different concrete class, explosive weight, explosive position and axial load acting on the building were used to determine the changes occurring. The master's thesis consists of 5 chapters. In the first chapter, general information about the subject and the content of the study was given. In the second chapter, previous studies of various researchers on the subject are included. In the third chapter, the explosion events that occurred in the past, the increase in the explosion and the reasons that caused the explosion events are mentioned. In the same section, topics such as the concept of explosion, explosive substances, classification of explosion types, models made by various researchers for the determination of explosion loads, and determination of explosion load according to UFC 3-340-02 standards are touched upon. In the fourth chapter, a finite element model of a two-storey reinforced concrete model is presented with the ANSYS Workbench program. In this building, the results of 16 explosion scenarios based on 4 parameters, their effects on the structure and their comparison are presented.
