Industrialization efforts in the line of foreign aid and financial crisis: Turkey sample

Industrialization determines the place of a country in economic, administrative, and international areas. At the same time, it contributes to the development of the country within the specific strategies and plans. The countries which complete their industrialization (development in industrial area) become self-sufficient in all of the sectors such as health, food, war, and automotive. Industrialization is also highly important to gain economic independence. When the developed countries are observed in the world, it is seen that almost all of them has reached their current positions by making their moves in the right place at the right time in industrial area. In most of the developed countries, share of the industry sector is high in GSMH. Contrary to developed countries, Turkey's industrialization period is a bit painful. Turkey is a country that does not make appropriate industrialization thrusts to the plans prepared in the industrialization line and stick to the plans. The aim of this study is to analyze the policies Turkey, which cannot make a move in heavy industry area, follows on the way of industrialization in its development stage. The positive and negative effects of the policies on the way of industrialization, the supports and the financial difficulties encountered to the country's development and the balance of trade are evaluated. It is analyzed to what extent the development strategy depends on the development policies and plans followed on the way of industrialization. Also, changing political structures' point of views to the old politics, the sectors the coups threw out of focus, the precautions taken against financial crisis, the roles of regional unities in development, and Turkey's industrialization efforts from its foundation to present are evaluated considering own conditions of each period.
