Evaluation of the multinational companies economically in the World economy

Abstract (EN)

Globalization concept has become one of the topics debated frequently in the last years. The debate in this issue is that globalization is a multidimensional process. The process of change and transformation experienced in the world economy neo-liberal policies since 1980 is defined as globalization. Multinational companies are defined that have capital and sales revenue in particular matter and their central is settled in a certain place and make several activities as aimful agencies. In this study, appearance of multinational companies as a matter of fact and their effect on nation states of gross national product as economic power is searched. In this work, economic power of the multinational companies and annual national income of nation states are compared. Especially, Wal-Mart trading volume of the countries in the same year like Poland, Belgium, Nigeria, and Norway are bigger. The total income of Wal-Mart is equal to annual income of many countries. These are countries like Hungary, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. The total income of multinational companies, except USA, is much more than all the world countries. In short, multinational companies rule the world. Key Words: Multinational Companies; Globalization; GDP
