Sustainable culture tourism on the hittite road i̇n the content of the world cultural route

Cultural routes are communication networks with natural, cultural and historical functionality, which are classified as land, water or some other type of physical route, carrying their own dynamics and showing the harmony / contrast of these dynamics with nature. These routes are the routes that live and live between countries, regions or continents where multidimensional ideas, knowledge and values are constantly and interchangeably exchanged. Cultural routes of this nature are determined by the criteria set by the Council of Europe, UNESCO and ICOMOS. Routes with Outstanding Universal Value (OUV) are included in the World Heritage List and efforts are made to ensure their sustainability. Cultural routes used in the past for different purposes (military, commercial, religious, etc.) are important destinations for tourism today. The recognition of these destinations in the tourism market is provided by the theme determined by the attributes of the route and the values on the route. However, many vital factors such as the sustainability of immovable cultural heritage and the eigenvalues of local people are often denied by the gains made through the use of cultural values in tourism. cultural routes in Turkey "development corridors" is defined as efforts are made for the opening and tourism. The Hittite Development Corridor, which focuses on the ancient capital Hattusha, is hopeful to define it with internationally accepted criteria as it is not yet a popular or attractive destination for consumption tourism and thus to maintain a balance of protection and use by managing it with a sustainable conservation and tourism approach. For this purpose, the Hittite Way's OUV will be defined and cultural route quality and sustainability principles will be determined. Thus, the nature of the OUV and / or cultural route of this road and its potential for cultural tourism will be defined.
