ABSTRACTMaster DegreeA Strategy Suggestion: Creating Brand For Turk Textile and Apparel Sector InThe Frame of The World Textile and Apparel Sector?s TendenciesEsra YARICIDokuz Eylul UniversityInstitute Of Social SciencesDepartment of ManagementInternational Business Administration ProgramTextile and apparel sector being affected by the changing trends ofdemand and tendencies of trade and production in the international markets asthe other sectors and as a result of this the new competitive elements born in thesector.The aim of this study is noticing the strategic importance of creatingbrand and giving suggestion to the own problems and widespread problems ofTurk textile and apparel sector which is the one of the pilot sectors of Turkeyfrom the beginning of export oriented industrialization up until now, for havinga sustainable competitive strength in the international markets.The results of this study showed that after phase out the import quotas at2005, flow of commerce of textile and clothing are being under way of to shapeout by competitive elements not by quotas and trade agreements.
