After arriving in Japan at the beginning of 800 AD, it turned into a form of ceremony and became an integral part of the far east culture. Ceramic teapots are a historical document in terms of reading societies' backgrounds and lifestyles. Tea quickly adapted to most cultures, as a result of which it added many riches to humanity, from production to consumption. In this thesis titled 'Tea Culture and Ceramic Tea Pots in the World', the contribution of tea to human life and ceramic art was evaluated. With this research, the products used in brewing and consuming tea were examined and its effect on art was examined. Within the scope of the researched subject, underglaze, glazed, silkscreen decoration applications, gilding applications, etc. on the surfaces of ceramic teapots.
