Human enhancement technologies in the world and its possible effects on work life

The reason for presenting this study is the need to detect in advance the revolutionary changes that the existing Human Development Technologies, which are expected to become widespread in the near future, may occur in the labor market and the problems that may occur as a result of these changes. Because "new machines" that emerge as a result of technological developments and are important for change do not only replace old machines; By changing the way people think and their mental environment, they present new solutions to social, intellectual and even personal problems. Alvin Toffler emphasizes the importance of establishing a mechanism to control human-made technology. In order to analyze these changes, a detailed examination of both the philosophical foundations and the current situation of Human Enhancement Technologies; Then, it is aimed to examine the changes that may occur in the labor market as a result of the spread of these technologies and to reveal the policies that can prevent the problems that may arise before they occur. There has not been a study yet in the national or international literature on the problems that Human Development Technologies may cause in the labor market and labor relations. On the other hand, such revolutionary changes are expected to inevitably lead to social conflicts, given similar examples in the past. The cultural and social consequences of emerging technologies cannot be left to chance; Therefore, it is necessary to make an effort to predict the structures, effects, strengths and emergence times of future technologies (Toffler, 1974). If the measures to be taken in this area are not determined and action is not taken, it is predicted that an unprecedentedly unfair dual structure will emerge in the labor market in the near future, and this structure will eventually turn into a social explosion. For this reason, it is essential to correctly understand the basis, philosophy, elements and implications of this approaching technological revolution, and to determine the right policies in order to minimize the possible harms.
