Water problem in the world and in Turkey and the multinational companies

This thesis is written up with the aim of semtinizing privatization policies as a solution of meeting the increasing demand of water, our essential need. An examination is made on assigning running water to private sector through determining the matter of water as a result of discussions and decisions made internationally. International organizations, which propound high requirements of infrastructure investment and especially financial difficulties of developing countries for providing and/or increasing fresh water as a matter of that huge demand, in the wake of emphasizing that question as a serious situation and excluding water from the regulation of free goods, regarded as limited goods. The concept of managing water that has become economically an asset from the best private sector is now gradually imposed on countries by organizations and foundations with the help of multinational companies. Credit companies is now enforcing countries to ensure privalization while providing credits fot them. As a result of that the companies became promising and largest economies worlwide.The mentioned process and consequences of privalization implementations are discussed in this thesis and the issue whether privalization is a single and better way is emphasized. In conclusion, it is recognized that as a result of ineffectiveness of privalization implementations providing running water from consumer cooperatives is more efficient and effective in this thesis.Key Words1.Water Problem2.Water Rights3.International organizations4.Privatizations5.Multinational Companies
