Latinization and the analysis of the book "vekalet" by Duraru'l Hukkam Serhi Mecelletil Ahkam

The aim of this thesis is to aid understanding law studies belonging to that era by latinizing of the book `Vekalet? by Duraru?l-Hukkam. In addition it helps to determine the resources mentioned in the book `Vekalet?. The first part of the thesis which comprises three main parts is about Ali Haydar Efendi and his works. The second part gives information about the works which the writer benefits from while preparing the book `Vekalet?. In the third part, the latinizing the book `Vekalet? is done according to the current language. The words are presented as it is used in the current language if it has equivalent; if it doesn?t, it is presented as it is in the original form.
