Abstract (EN)

The shape variations that occur under the permanent or temporary effects in the structures, machine facilities and earth's crust are called deformation. Deformations, according to the structure of the shape variations are divided into permanent and elastic. Deformations occur depending on time and conditions. Measurements to determine these variations are called as "Deformation Measurements". The evaluation of these measurements and interpretation of the results are also called as "Analysis of Deformation Measurements". Different models have been developed as static, dynamic and kinematic models in order to analyze deformation measurements. In the kinematic model, deformation analysis can be done by Kalman filtering method developed by Rudolf Kalman in 1960 and this method is used in many fields. In this study, a levelling network of 14 points, 12 of which are object and 2 reference, were established in order to determine the vertical deformations in Ermenek dam. The height differences between the points are determined by precise levelling. In the deformation analysis, six epochs measurements, which were carried out in December 2010, December 2011, May 2012, July 2012, March 2013 and February 2014, were used. The deformation analysis of the levelling network established on the crest of the dam was carried out by S-transformation in the static model and by Kalman filtering method in the kinematic model. The results obtained from both methods were compared and the results were found to be compatible with each other.
