Abstract (EN)

Technological developments have come a long way in the process from the past to the present. Technological developments have come a long way from the past to the present. Thanks to these technological developments, new trends have emerged in control systems. Sensorless control is one of these new trends and aims to bring the devices used in our daily life and especially in the industrial field to a smaller size. The way to do this is to reduce the number of elements used in the system or devices. Reducing the number of elements can increase the reliability of the system and reduce costs. In addition, the undesirable effects of the unused element in the system, if used, are avoided. Care must be taken to ensure that the disabled element does not adversely affect the functionality of the system when arranging a design of any system as mentioned above. The sensorless control technique is suitable for this situation. In this thesis, sensorless control of step-down type DC DC converter is carried out assuming that only the output voltage is measured. The modeling of the system was done with Matlab/Simulink and the behavior of the system in sudden changes was observed using the integral backstepping technique. The data obtained as a result of sudden changes were compared with the PI controller. Because the same number of sensors are used in both control methods. The obtained results clearly showed that the proposed control technique is much better than conventional controllers. In addition, the hybrid control technique was used to avoid the effects of overshoots caused by the use of the integrator.
