Abstract (EN)
In the study, it was aimed to examine whether as sub-dimensions of emotional skillfulness, attention to feelings, clarity of feelings, repair of mood, and mindfulness were predictors of relationship satisfaction or not. In addition, the relationship between students' relationship numbers and relationship satisfaction were examined in the study. While the independent variable of the research is mindfulness, attention to feelings, clarity of feelings and repair of mood, the dependent variable is relationship satisfaction. The research population consists of university students was studied at Akdeniz University in the 2018-2019 academic year. The study group of the research consists of Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Letters and Faculty of Engineering with easily accessible sampling method. The study group of the research consists of a total of 325 students, 209 females and 116 males, who have a romantic relationships. Data collection tools were applied to students who volunteered. Personal Information Form, Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS), Trait-Meta Mood Scale (TMMS) and Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) were used to collect research data. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS 20 package program. As a result of the regression analysis, it was found that while the variables of mindfulness, attention to feelings, and clarity of feelings significantly predicted relationship satisfaction, repair of mood did not significantly predict relationship satisfaction. According to these findings, it can be said that as the participants' mindfulness, attention to feelings, and clarity of feelings scores increase, their relationship satisfaction scores increase. As a result of the Mann Whitney U Test, which was conducted to examine whether there was a significant difference between the number of romantic relationships that the participants had so far and their relationship satisfaction, a significant difference was found in terms of relationship satisfaction score according to the number of relationships. These findings indicate the relationship between mindfulness, attention to feelingss, clarity of feelings and the number of participants' relationships and relationship satisfaction.
