Abstract (EN)
This research aims to explore the relationship between emotional labour and alienation. Research question: How is correlation between emotional labor's behaviors and alienation's dimensions. Cabin attendants have been chosen as an example because of emotional display rules changing into necessity of work for cabin attendants and previous searching. In this research the relationship between emotional labour and alienation have been studied from the view of getting stranger of the feelings. In the research the emotional discrepancy (surface acting), emotional effort (deep acting) and genuine emotion are connected with dimensions of alienation (powerlessness, meaninglessness, normlessness, isolation and self-estrangement). Exploring emotional labour and alienation on the parts of dimensions in this research express the importance of the explore. Besides the relationships between emotional labour and alienation of stewards consists the originality of the research. Because of this aim searching questions and hypothesis have been chosen. A semi structured interview has been made with 15 stewards who have been contacted using the technique of snowball sample. Gained datas have been assessed with content analysis. Finding parts are commented with the themes consisted of the datas from institutional circumference and field explorations. As a result of research the following things have been understood that: Cabin attendant press their feelings intensely; here is positive relationship emotional labour and emotional effort with powerlessness, meaninglessness, isolation; here is positive relationship genuine emotion and performance; cabin attendants have experience isolation so often; keeping the feelings under press causes alienation emotionally.
