Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, the importance and use of artificial intelligence is increasing gradually. The use of artificial intelligence within ethical boundaries, becoming more active and providing benefits will be possible by understanding the human - artificial intelligence interaction. The aim of this research is to investigate human - artificial intelligence interaction on the basis of affective events theory and team effectiveness model. Human beings can survive in the business environment not only with their cognitive characteristics but also with their heart and soul. On the basis of the affective events theory, it is aimed to determine what kind of emotions, attitudes and behaviors the human will exhibit due to the working environment in artificial intelligence - human interaction. On the basis of the team effectiveness model, it is examined how artificial intelligence can be an effective teammate in human - artificial intelligence interaction compared to human - human. In this context, multiple case study research design was preferred from qualitative research methods. The sample group consisting of 21 employees (engineers, academicians, bankers) selected by purposive sampling method was asked 9 questions and their opinions and suggestions were received. As a result of the research, it was found that there is a dominant view that wants artificial intelligence to remain as a coworker rather than a teammate. In the context of Turkey, it is also suggested by the participants that artificial intelligence should not have emotional characteristics in the future.
