Abstract (EN)

This study mainly aims to examine the effects of emotional capital levels of employees, working in the textile sector of Gaziantep Organized Industrial Site, on the conflict management styles which they use in conflicts with their peers. The universe of the study is private sector employees working in the textile field in Gaziantep Organized Industrial Site. Within the scope of the research, the required data has been collected from 419 employees working in the mentioned sector in Gaziantep between 05 October 2019 - 15 February 2020 by using the convenience sampling method. The data obtained have been analyzed by using SEM (Structural Equation Model) through SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 23.0 computerized statistical package programs. As a result of the study, it has been found that each sub-dimension (adaptibility, self-management, relationship management, social awareness, and self-awareness) of emotional capital has an effect on all organizational conflict management styles (compromise, avoidance, reconciliation, domination and integration) and the direction (positive - negative) of emotional capital differs among organizational conflict management styles.
