Assessment of use of blood and blood components by clinics at Düzce Universty Health Research and Application Center

This study was conducted to evaluate the use of blood and blood components according to clinics in Düzce Health Application and Research Center. Between January 2016-December 2016, data from patients receiving blood components were collected at clinics providing inpatient services. Blood and blood components were found to be used in patients rate of %55.8 with a maximum aged 65 years and over. The erythrocyte suspension (%59) was the most preferred blood product by clinics. Erythrocyte suspension, platelet suspension and cryoprecipitate are mostly used by internal clinics while blood and fresh frozen plasma were found to be the most used by surgical clinics.There was a difference between the number of blood component request and usage of the clinics.ilmiştir.Tam kan kullanımının ise hastanemizde son derece az olduğu saptanmıştır.(%0.55)
