Özet (EN)
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effeciency of using the self-regulation learning method of Gazi University Teacher Education Department students on their individual work processes in terms of musical instrument education. At research, experimental method was applied on pre-test (illumination) and post-test model. The working group consist of sobhorome including 10 experimental and 10 control group students. The research data was collected through the video recording of students replying to questions during an interview and of the process of them playing the instrument. Data collection instruments were prepared with Rubrics scoring system. Kolomogov-Smirnov normality test was used for analysing the data. After the analysis, for the variables which have a normal distribution, t-test was used for the comparision of the groups. In the t-test, Levene test was used to test the hypotesis of the equality of variances. For the cases of the normality hypotesis wasn't provided, to determine the differences between groups, Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon test was used. When the difference in pre-test and post-test scores were examined that is related to students' video observation results, it can be said that experimental group's point is quite higher than the control group's point. When the difference in pre-test and post-test scores were examined that is related to students' interviews (general) results, it can be said that experimental group's point is higher than the control group's point. In concequence, it can be said that the process applied to the experimental group students is an important contribution to the overall interview and video observation results. Experimental group students more successful at goal setting, self-guiding, strategy using, playing an instrument and like behaviours than the control group students which is seen at results obtained at last tests. As a result, in individual instrument training process, the results of interviews and video observations display that students in the experimental group used the self regulated learning method, spent their time more efficiently and effectively than control group students.Key Words: Self-Regulated Learning, Instrument Training, Music Education, Individual Study Process, Learning, Primary Teacher Education.
