Özet (EN)

In this study, the method of strengthening masonry structures with steel reinforced shotcrete is examined in an experimental way. For this purpose, two separate prototypes walls were built in realistic sizes and in identical geometry and material. The second one was strengthened by with steel reinforced shotcrete. Both walls were tested under the reversible out of plane loading. End of the experiments, first crack load was +45 kN and break load was + 60 kN on the unreinforced wall prototype. On the reinforced wall prototype, however, first crack load was -70 kN and break load was + 186 kN and resistance was increased 3,1 times reinforced wall prototype. It was observed that the flexibility remained 2,2 on the unreinforced wall prototype, while flexibility increased 2,64 times and reached 5,81 on the reinforced wall prototype. In addition, the capacity to consume energy is increased 13, 94 times and rigidity decreased 0, 46 times, it is resisted seismic earthquake force with ground acceleration 0.722g and seismic force performance is increased approximate 3,11 times on the reinforced wall prototype.
