Özet (EN)

Recent studies have related to detemine the impact of anemia and diabetes mellitus in Iraqi patients on the level of lipid profiles, hematological indices and anthropometric measurement(age, sex and body mass index), assessment of the indices can be carried out by measuring the level of blood indices that collected from patients in the laboratory. From January to June 2022, 120 patients (male and female) with anemia and diabetes mellitus were gathered and identified as having illness based on laboratory investigations, clinical examinations, and prior clinical reports, at Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital, Amara, Maysan, Iraq (2022). The results were compared to the results of 40 healthy control volunteers (male and female) who were matched for age, sex, and BMI. As a consequence, we may deduce that biochemical and hematological evaluations were performed (haematocrit, glucose, haemoglobin, platelets, lipid profile, red blood cell, neutrophil, white blood cell, mean cell volume, HbA1c and lymphocyte), Compared to healthy control participants, there was a substantial increase (p≤0.05-0.01) in the number of levels, in the serum of patients with anemia and diabetes mellitus (male and female). It is possible to draw the conclusion from these findings that diabetes and anemia are the primary factors responsible for changes in the levels of biochemical and hematological markers seen in patients.
