E-municipality applications (Menteşe municipality example)

The development of technology has changed the expectations of societies regarding public services, and as a result of the structure that has turned into an information society, the services provided by the state and local governments that allow them to be provided effectively have also started to use information processing technologies. The e-Municipality system is among the first among these innovations. With the decree numbered 6360, Muğla Province became a metropolitan city with its 13 districts on March 30, 2014. In this study, the contribution of the e- municipality system to local governments is discussed in terms of facilitating the services offered by the Municipality of Menteşe to its citizens.
