Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the factors influencing individuals' use of personal information access through e-government services in Turkey using logistic regression analysis and the CHAID (Chi-squared Automatic Interaction Detection) algorithm. Additionally, the study aims to create an e-government user profile based on the results obtained. In this thesis study, the micro dataset of the Household Information Technologies Usage Survey conducted in 2022 has been utilized. The factors influencing e-government usage in Turkey have been examined comprehensively. Logistic regression analysis was employed due to the categorical nature of the micro dataset used in the study. Additionally, decision trees, a classification algorithm, were utilized to add more depth and interpretative richness to the study. To identify the factors influencing the use of e-government in Turkey, the data on "access to personal information through the e-government portal" were examined using binary logistic regression analysis. As a result of this analysis, demographic variables influencing e-government usage and their effects have been investigated. Additionally, e-government user characteristics have been determined. The factors influencing e-government usage have been examined using decision trees. The variables that best explain the state of e-government usage have been identified
