Özet (EN)

The purpose of that study is to introduce the natural environment experiences provided to the preschool children by their parents, and the attitudes of the children against the environment. The sampling of the study consists of the 353 preschool children of 60-72 months, attending the independent kindergartens affiliated to the Ministry of National Education and the nursery classes of the primary schools in Giresun city center, and their parents. As the data collection tool, the ?Children?s Environmental Response Inventory? and the ?Family Scanning Scale? had been used. At the research it had been arrived to the conclusion that the attitudes of the preschool children against the environment do not differ as a result of the place they live, the education level of their parents, the income of the family, or the career of the parents (p>0.05) but as a result of their gender (p<0.05).It had been arrived to the conclusion that the natural environment experiences that the families provide to their children do not differ as a result of the place they live or their income (p>0.05), but the education level and the careers of the parents (p<0.05). The correlation between the Environmental Reaction Inventory and the Family Scanning Scale had been analyzed, and it had been arrived to the conclusion that there is an insignificant correlation between these two.Key words: Preschool, attitude against the environment, natural environment experiences
