Abstract (EN)

The Qur'an, which belongs to Allah (swt) with its words and meaning, is one of the most basic sources of the science of Qiraat. For this reason, Muslims have tried to learn, memorize and understand the Qur'an since its revelation. Since then, many scholars have been trained in this field. Scholars have written valuable works in this field. The most important and comprehensive of the studies based on the Qur'an is undoubtedly the science of Qiraat. In this study, two of the most important works of the science of Qiraat and their representatives are discussed. These are al-Dānī and his book titled Taysīr and Shāṭibī's poem titled Hırz al-amānī, which was written based on this work. Since al-Sāibiyya contains laconic expressions and ciphers, secondary sources were utilized in the study, and commentaries and tahrirat works were also examined. These early works are of great importance in terms of systematically transmitting the narrations of the seven imams of Qiraat, providing theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Qiraat, and memorizing Ḥirz al-amānī. Ḥirz al-amānī is more than a summary of al-Tayṣīr, and al-Tayṣīr is the original of the Sāṭibiyya. Shāṭibī took al-Ṭayṣīr, a prose work, as a basis, expressing the opinions of the imams of Qiraat in a poetic text, and in some places adding matters that were not included in al-Tayṣīr. This study aims to identify and analyze al-Shāṭibī's additions or preferences to al-Taysīr in terms of its usul content by focusing on the textual relationship between the two works. In this thesis, firstly, the periods in which both authors lived, their teachers and students, their works and their place in the science of qiraat are examined, and then the texts of al-Taysīr and Ḥirz al-amānī are subjected to comparison and the additions that we can reach are conveyed. Shātibī's additions are categorized, classified, and systematically analyzed in terms of content. As a result of the study, it has been observed that these additions are sometimes complementary or directive and appear in the form of hulf. As a result, this thesis aims to contribute to the understanding of the development process of the science of Qiraat in the plane of classical intertextual relations and to show those who are engaged in the science of Qiraat to the identified exaggerations.
