The theological views of Ebû Hazer Yağlâ b. Zeltaf el-Vesyânî

The Khawarij movement, which emerged in the early periods of Islamic History, was not much favored by Muslims because it was identified with violent actions. The only branch of this movement that has survived until the modern period is the Ibadiyya, which acts more moderately. The subject of this study is the theological views of Ebu Hazer Yagla bin Zeltaf Al-Wasyani (d. 380/990), one of the early representatives of the Ibadiyya School. The aim of the study is to reveal the views of Abu Hazer Yagla b. Zeltaf al-Wasyani, one of the important scholars of Ibāzīyya, in his published work ''er-Redd Alâ Cemîi'l-Muhālifīn'' and his importance in the Ibāzīyya sect, taking into account his detailed biography obtained from the books of Tabâkat.The source scanning method was used in the study. This study also aims to contribute to the studies conducted on the Ibâzîyye and to contribute to the accurate knowledge of the Ibâzîyye from their own sources.
