Abstract (EN)
In this thesis titled" Abu Ishaq Shirazi and his Procedural Thought", one of the leading scholars of the Shafi'i sect, Shirazi's views on fiqh procedure and the method he followed in fiqh procedure were taken into consideration. In the first part of the thesis, which consists of an introduction and three parts, Shirazi's life, teachers, students and works as well as the political and scientific envi-ronment in which he lived has been explored and articulated. In the second part, within the scope of Şirazî's views on the methodology, the preferences of the Shafi'i sect in disputed matters, the scholars he valued and referred to, the sects he criticized and the opinions were mentioned. The last section, which is named as the main features of Shirazî's procedural tho-ught, consists of the method he follows in his method, different views in Tabsıra and Luma, the method he adopts in the classification of procedural subjects, and the method by which he writes the procedural work.
