Abstract (EN)

Bedruddin Mahmud al-Aynî wrote many works in the IX. He is one of the leading scholars of the century. This study has been handled within the framework of the prayer sections of the works of Şerhu Süneni Ebî Dâvûd and Umdetü'l-karî fî Şerhi Sahihi'l-Bukhari. In the thesis, a comparison has been made by making use of similar hadiths and chapters in the prayer sections of the works of two boks. It is aimed to find the differences and similarities between these two works. In the thesis, attention is drawn to the differences in the copies of the works, the approaches of Aynî to other scholars in both works, and the similarities in the titles of the chapters. In the context of the issues discussed while explaining a hadith, the way in which Aynî handled the issues such as the examination of the authenticity of the hadith, the statement of isnâd, the statement of the rijl, the statement of the tahric were examined comparatively. At the end of the study, the ways in which the hadiths in the works of Şerhu Süneni Ebî Dâvûd and Umdetü'l-karî fî Şerhi Sahihi'l-Bukhari are evidenced by verses and other hadiths and the interpretation of conflicting hadiths are discussed. In short, although there are methodological differences between these two works of Aynî, no conflicting differences have been found within the scope of Aynî's interpretations.
