Abstract (EN)

Ebubekir Zekeriyya er-Râzî is one of the philosophers who draw attention and criticism with his extreme rationalist attitude while evaluating the events in the history of Islamic thought. In our study, it is tried to put forward what are the philosophical and religious views of Ebubekir er-Râzî, who evokes the concepts of mülhit and Deist everywhere. The reason why our philosopher was subjected to such accusations and how he acted against these accusations was investigated. It has been tried to find out how much of these criticisms reflect reality. Our study consists of two parts. In the first part of this study, some philosophers and schools that are contemporary in order to understand the cultural and political environment in which Ebubekir er-Râzî lived and some names known as opponents are tried to be introduced. Again in this section, the works related to our work attributed to Ebubekir er-Râzî are mentioned. In the second part, the philosophical views of Ebubekir er-Râzî and their thoughts on basic religious issues are tried to be put forward. It can be said that there are contradictory discourses on the beliefs of Allah, the Hereafter and the prophecy of Abu Bakr al-Razi. It was especially tried to be found in the works written by him that how much of the views that Ebubekir al-Râzî did not accept religions, regarded prophets and holy books as unnecessary and accepted eternal elements other than Allah. When the Seljuks seized Baghdad in 1055 and burnt the library in Baghdad by 1258 by the Mongol ruler Hülagü Han and the burning of the library in Baghdad, many of the works of Ebubekir er-Râzî have been lost and few of them have survived. For this reason, devoted research and impartial studies are needed to reveal the philosophical and religious thoughts of Ebubekir al-Râzî. Key words: Râzî, Heretic, Religion, Philosophy Philosopher, Belief,
