Abstract (EN)
Our thesis was prepared at Istanbul Altınbaş University Post Graduate School of Education with a master's thesis degree. In this study, the purpose of and importance of the regime of participation in acquired property related to the topic we have researched, the types of property, the property regime contracts and the aspects related to each spouse's property within the scope of the regime of participation in acquired property have been addressed. Here, "personal properties" and "acquired properties" have been examined in detail under two categories of assets. According to the provisions of the Turkish Civil Code, the freedom and limits of spouses to make agreements under the regime of participation in acquired property are addressed. In general, this study includes changes that spouses can make through a marital property regime agreement or changes that can be made without the need for a marital property regime agreement within the scope of the regime of participation in acquired property.
