Özet (EN)

In this study, our aim is to examine the effect of bedrock depth on site-specific response analyses. In site-specific analyses, four different soil profiles with bedrock depths of 30, 60, 90, and 120 meters were modeled. In accordance with TBDY 2018, 11 earthquake records were selected through the PEER NGA Database. The selected earthquake records are constrained by earthquake magnitude, fault types, distance to the fault, (Vs)30 values, and source mechanism. The earthquake records obtained with values close to the design spectrum were scaled using a simple scaling method in accordance with TEC 2018. Site-specific soil behavior analyses, considering local soil conditions, were conducted using DeepSoil v7 software. The response spectrum has been generated as a result of a one-dimensional time-domain nonlinear soil response analysis conducted to transfer earthquakes originating in the bedrock to the surface. For each soil profile, the General Quadratic/Hyperbolic (GQ/H) Model and the Modified Kondner-Zelasko (Modified KZ) Hyperbolic Model data were compared.
