Effective ways of teaching and learning English through NLP techniques

This study has been carried out to probe into the techniques which are used inorder to teach English in an effective way. The first chapter introduces thebackground of the study, problem, aim, purpose, hypothesis, research questions,scope and limitations of the study to provide both a brief rationale and necessarybackground for the study.The second chapter presents a review of the literature relevant to the subjectin six major sub-headings. The first sub-heading of the review deals with a briefhistory of NLP, the second one deals with the definition of NLP, the third , the fourthand the fifth sub-headings give information about the theoretical background in NLP,and finally the sixth sub-heading looks into some Humanistic Approaches whichhave a great influence on NLP.In the third chapter, the research questions, participants, procedures and someimportant NLP techniques have been presented of an introductory questionnaireillustrated. The data analysis has been illustrated numerically in a chart and theresults have been evaluated and interpreted in a descriptive way.The fourth chapter contains a brief summary of the research and offerssuggestions related to the results of the research. The study ends with fourappendices. Appendix 1 displays the questionnaire about sensory styles. Appendix 2contains the texts of two activities used in the classroom.
