In this context, it is possible to tell the objects of this study like this:a) Why has ?woman problem? come up to today by increasing and without any change?b) During the nineteenth century, how was the people?s point of view about women in the German and Turkish society and what were the roles of women ?According to the results of this study, it is clear that without carrying any differences of status and identification, women have suffered injustice and have been put into different categories from past to present. It stands out that nineteenth century was a turning point in terms of women?s movements. There were the effects of French Revolution on the German society and in the Turkish society, following European?s steps and painstaking them overrode and the innovation movements accompanied with all the women?s movements, being in the first place: the definition of ?woman? .
