Values in the tales of Eflâtun Cem Güney and their forms of reflection to behaviour

In this research "Values in The Tales of Eflâtun Cem Güney and Their Forms of Reflection to Behaviour" were determined as subject. The author's books were scanned, and only the texts written in fairy tales were handled. While this research was being preparing, it was acted with the awareness that tales are the most effective way to be given the values and behaviours to child. Because of the fairy tales of the Güney have rich contents in its context, it is defined that which values to be earned are handled with which behaviours. The values which determined by Ministry of National Education are: Love, responsibility, respect, tolerance-susceptibility, self-confidence, empathy, fairness, courage, leadership, kindness, friendship, helping each other, solidarity, cleanliness, integrity, honesty, attach importance to family, thinking independent, optimism, to improve esthetic feelings, hospitality, patriotism, doing favor, diligence, being sharing, compassion, greeting, humility, conservation of cultural heritage, self-sacrifice. It has been researched how these values are tried to be given with which behaviours of author's fairy tales. As a result of study, it has been seen that Güney's fairy tales are the rich source for values education.At the same time, the books which written with author's own style, leaving literatery test to reader. This is the reason why the author's books must be read and read more.
