In education faculties, at the branches of music education, students idea about number and quality situation of pianos

The aim of this thesis, in education faculties, determine at the branches of music education students idea about number and quality situation of pianos. In this research, Represent in Turkey?s education faculties, branches of music educations; there are four universities choosen. These universities are: Karadeniz Technical University, Abant Izzet Baysal University, Pamukkale University and Selçuk University.In this research, inquiry and appointment technigues are used. First of all, an appointmet is maden with these branches of music education managers. The aim of this appointment, take information about the situation of pinaos. After than, an inquiry is made to third class students. The aim of this inquiry, determine to student?s idea about the situation of pianos.According to results of this research, students don?t appreciate from the quality of pianos. Students believe that brand is important for quality. Students effects from tune and cleaning situation of pianos.According to students, number of pianos don?t enough for number of students.Studetns need piano for some lessons except for the piano lesson.Most of the students don?t have a piano at their home and they can play piano only at school.Key Words: Piano, Piano Education
