Student satisfaction in education faculties: The case of Sakarya University

Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the satisfaction of the faculty of education students about the teaching staff, consultancy service,management,resources, computer facilities andcurricılum (courses). In addition, it was examined whether the satisfaction levels of the students of education faculty differed according to gender, class level and the department they studied. The data were obtained by using the Faculty of Education Satisfaction Scale, which was applied to 473 students studying at Sakarya University Faculty of Education. . Independent samples T-Test and ANOVA were used for data analysis. As aresult of the research, it was determined that the students studying in the faculty of education werw generally satisfied wich the service they received in the faculty and they werw moderately satisfied wich the teaching staff, consultancy service, management, resources, computer facilities,courses and course programs. As a result of the study, it was determined that the satisfaction levels of the students from the faculty of education did not show a significant difference according to gender but showed a significant difference according to the class and the section.
