Abstract (EN)
Children are the future of society. In this sense, there has been a need to Show special attention to childhood. Child maltreatment, lack of self-protection and development has brought the concept of children's rights, the protection of the child and the development of legal arrangements for the child to the agenda. In addition to these developments regarding child rights, conducting different studies is important in order to raise awareness in all segments of society. Therefore in this study which is based on with the aim of bringing different perspectives on the subjectand educating and informing all parties about the issue, the attitudes of the faculty of law and the students of the education faculty towards children's rights were examined according to various variables. "Attitudes towards Children's Rights Scale" developed by Kepenekçi (2006) was used as data collection tool in the research. Sampling was not done in the study, the whole of the universe was taken as a sample and all the universe was tried to be reached. The survey model was used in the research and non-parametric tests were used because the data obtained in the research did not show a normal distribution. The Mann-Whitney U-Test was used for the two-category variables, and the Kruskall Wallis H-Test was used for variables with more than two categories. As a result of the research, students' attitudes towards children's rights were found to be high. In the research, there were differences in attitudes towards children's rights according to gender, class level and also by faculty type variables of education faculty students. There are no found differences in the attitudes of the students towards children's rights according to the number of siblings, the type of high school graduated, the level of parent education, the profession status of the parents and the faculty type.
