Abstract (EN)
Human beings are the most important resource for businesses that try to survive in a globalized competitive environment. Supporting the development of human capital, which is the most valuable asset of businesses, is an important tool in achieving the strategic goals of the business. Abandon classical methods and apply new methods in all areas of human resources management; in particular, the implementation of competence-based models has become more prominent in recent years. In this study; in order to develop human capital, firstly the concepts of training and development, human resources management process and finally competency based training and development are examined. Through the national and international literature review related to competence- based training and development and some documents which were obtained from an international company that applies competence-based training and development activities, some determinations were made. Key Words: Human resources, education and development, competency-based education and development.
