2023 education vision in the context of education admininstrators' views

This study was carried out in order to determine the applicability of the 2023 educational vision in the institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education from the perspective of educational administrators. This research; A qualitative study, a case study technique was used in the study. Since the study was carried out with the education managers working in different types of schools, the study used holistic multi-state design from case study technique designs. The study group consisted of 2018-2019 education managers who work in primary and secondary schools and high schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Kepez, Antalya. In the research, semi-structured interview form consisting of open-ended questions was used as data collection tool and the answers of the participants were recorded on the voice recorder. Research data were subjected to content analysis after transcript processing. Frequency and percentage analysis were used as part of the content analysis. Participants' opinions are categorized into draft themes under main themes and codes and finalized by expert opinion. Themes created as a result of these themes are given in the form of tables according to their frequency.In addition, the themes were supported by direct quotations from the participants and the credibility of the research was increased. As a result of the study, the main finding of the participants was that the 2023 basic vision was expressed as a society based on change, development, renewal, human centered understanding, talent and skill based education. The implementation of the policies of the 2023 vision is thought to be due to the effective use of human resources, the effectiveness of the training financing policies, the process and political stability.As regards the primary education and secondary education policies in the 2023 vision document, the participants see the restructuring of concepts such as curriculum, number of courses, duration of breaks, skill workshops, and inclusion of innovative practices. They stated that the applicability of the human resources management policies included in the vision document only depends on merit, cooperation, professional law and the process. 2023 stated that planning policies and stakeholder relations should be given importance in order to be able to solve the economic problems of schools. In this context, suggestions were given to the practitioners and researchers based on the results of the research and the opinions of the participants.
