Private courses in terms of education?s social functions (a sample from Izmir)

The subject of this study is private courses in terms of education?s social functions. The purpose of the study; to examine the state of private courses which occured as a result of changing the education system, socioeconomic conditions, increasing of proportion of literate and the number of people who goes to university in terms of students? education. In this context the following questions were tried to answer: `What are students? perspectives on private courses and school??, `Is there a difference between private courses and school perspectives??, `If there are differences on which points?? Study consists two parts: In the first part?s content is: Conceptual explanations, history of education and information about private courses. In the second part?s content?s is: The results and the comments of the study.
