Abstract (EN)

Looking at today's conditions, individuals who respond to 21st century needs to educate individuals who can keep up with the development of technology, research, produce, innovate, open to teamwork and have high-level thinking skills. The interest in robotics in education has increased rapidly in the last five years because societies that want to produce high-tech products are planning investments in the robotic field. In this study, it was aimed to create a mathematical learning environment with six participants who know the idea robotics software of secondary school students and to examine the development process of algebraic reasoning in the linear equations in the field of algebra. This study was selected from the qualitative research approaches of the most appropriate approach. In the research process, three instructional experiment sessions were conducted after the pretest and then the last test and clinical interviews were carried out. In the process, the algorithms developed in response to the problems in the process, as a result of the analyzes made due to the specific pattern and generalization processes, were compared with the pre-test in the algebraic reasoning skills. development was observed. In addition, participants discussed the use of multiple forms of representation, understanding and interpersonal skills, scientific process skills, and problem-solving skills.
