Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is the ivestigated of the effects of fig as nutriental supplement on soccer players endurance system. The sample group of this study contains footballers from Aydın Yıldızspor Club (n=20) and Aydın Acarlar Belediye Sports Club (n=20) totally (n=40) soccer players was participated determine endurance abilities. In order to define the endurance characteristics of the footballers, the measurement tools of Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test 1 (YIRT1 and Repeated Sprint Test (RSA) are used. In order to find out the lactate and blood glucose levels of the footballers, Lactate scout and Accutrend glucose measurement tools are used. The measurements of the footballers are done in Adnan Menderes University School of Physical Education and Sports stadium and sports hall. The statistical analysis of the datas are examined in SPSS (18.0) programme. Non-Parametric Wilcoxon SignRanked (paired) test was applied to compare pre-test and post-test averages of variables (p<0.05). Mann-Whitney Utest was applied to compare the pre-test and post-test of groups. Results of the study showed that there was statistically significant within-subject difference of exercise group and control groups, Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test, Repeated Sprint Test (RSA), Blood Lactate Level, Blood Glicose Level and VO2max (p<0.01). As a result, it is found out that, the fig has a positive effect on the footballers in terms of endurance the performance of aerobics and anaerobics, has an effect on delaying the lactate acid depot, has an effect of the blood sugar level, has an effect on icreasing the maximal level of oxygen gaining.
