A research to determine the effect of teamwork on social loafing

In this study, social loafing behaviors were examined with teamwork and a research was conducted to determine the effect of teamwork on social loafing. In the study, the relationship between teamwork and its sub-dimensions and social loafing behavior was examined. In addition, the relationships of the variables in the study with the demographic variables were also investigated. The sample of the study covers 217 people working in all private banks in the central and districts of Kütahya. In the research, survey method was used to collect data. The data obtained from the study were analyzed using the SPSS package program. Factor analysis, Reliability Test, ANOVA, T-Tests, Resgression and Correlation analysis were performed in the evaluation of the data. According to the results of the research, team work reduces social loafing behavior. Keywords: Team, Teamwork, Social Loafing
