Abstract (EN)

The aim of study was to the determine the effects of the fertilizer sourcessuch as rocks, organics and mycorrhizae on the growth of maize and clover plantsand nutrient uptake. The experiment was carried out under greenhouse conditions atUniversity of Çukurova, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Soil Science.Theefficiency levels of compost, ground glauconite, pyrite, rock phosphate and theircombinations were tried to determine under both mycorrhizal and nonmycorrhizalcondation. The experiment was carried out in the low fertile and high CaCO 3Karaburun soil seriece.According to the results of the trial, compost and glauconite, pyrite, rockphosphate and their combinations increased considerably the yield of dry matter andnutrient uptake of the maize and clover plants. These experiments also shown thatthe mycorrhizal application made a significant difference between treatments. Keywords: Organic and inorganic materials, mycorrhizae, maize, clover
