Abstract (EN)

Globalization brought together the rapid growth and inequality in distribution of income. While the economies grow fast, the problems faced also varies. Whenever the economies face crises, some expenditures doubles as a result. The governments apply many policies in order to balance the economies in periods of crises. The basic point of these policies is focused on the rehabilitation of macroeconomic indicators. The level of income in a country is not measured through income per person; however, it would not be important which increasing income belongs to which income group. In the crises periods, especially middle and lower income classes affect much from the crises. The people within these income groups feel the crises strongly both economically and socially. The cities are accepted as the centers where there is much business opportunity. In the period of crises, the migration from suburban or underdeveloped regions to urban increase. The rapid growth of cities makes up illegal housing zones. These places around the centers became neighborhoods of unskilled labour and where illegal organizations provide members. The low education and income level may direct people to illegal Works in order to survive or better live. As crime is a fact which begins with the history of humanity and continuing up to now, it requires many studies concerning crime. Especially in periods of crises, serious increase in operations of police forces is realized. Both in visual and written press, there are news about crime in periods of crises. Although there are many studies concerning the sociologic roots or psychological reasons of crime, there are not enough studies towards crime and economy in our country. This study tries to explain the relationship between crime and economic crises especially on basis of official resources generally. So, it is tried to be analyzed the police forces towards their operations to organized crimes comparing crises periods and other periods.
