Abstract (EN)

Abdülkadir Töre, one of the important musicians of the 20th century, left respected works to Turkish music. The sheet music books prepared by Abdülkadir Töre in his own handwriting are among the valuable collections of Turkish music. These note books written by Abdülkadir Töre were later transferred to his student Ekrem Karadeniz. After Ekrem Karadeniz's death, these notebooks were recorded in the Suleymaniye Manuscript Library as the Ekrem Karadeniz Collection. All of these note books are known as the Ekrem Karadeniz Collection in music literature. Academically examining such collections and introducing new works to the Turkish music repertoire is among the main goals of our research, and for this reason we included Ekrem Karadeniz. The purpose of our topic; 35-39 of the Ekrem Karadeniz collection, from the sheet music collection prepared by Abdülkadir Töre in his own handwriting, which is in the Süleymaniye library. By transcribing the various chapters book, transferring it to today's Turkish and translating it into today's notation and adding it to the musical literature and repertoire. In this regard, as a method, a literature review was made from the library and information about the collection was given. With the Finale 2003 note writing program, notes and signs of various chapters have been translated into today's notes. Transcribed sheet music By placing a QR Code, the opportunity to listen to the works of composers whose digital recordings exist has been provided. It is aimed to provide a new musicological source by translating various sections in Ekrem Karadeniz Collection notebooks numbered 35-39 into today's Turkish and notation. On the other hand, a comparative analysis of the works with written notes was made with the version in today's repertoire, if any. In addition, the Ekrem Karadeniz Collection studies in the literature were scanned, and our research on the life and art of Abdülkadir Töre and Ekrem Karadeniz was used using qualitative and quantitative source scanning methods. Articles in acyclopedias, theses and articles about the life and art of Betekars have been collected and brought together. In this study, the fasıl tradition in Turkish maqam music and the memory-based meshk method taught from master to apprentice are explained and its importance is emphasized.
