Abstract (EN)

In this study elasto-plastic analysis on in-plane loaded AS4 carbon fiber reinforced composite plates with circular hole at room temperature and room elevated temperatures by finite element method and experimental method. Structure of the composite taken as ortotrophic and angle ply symmetric. Tsai- Hill yield criteria used for elasto-plastic analysis. Both experimental and finite analysis data discussed. As a result it seems that composite material strength changes with the temperature change and both ANSYS finite element data and experimental data is similar. The strength of the composite material seems to be changing by temperature, and maximum stress is found at the hole edges.
