Abstract (EN)
Data concerning experimental study made on reinforced concrete structure elements are compared with the analytical study results. For this purpose, a reinforced concrete column with a square cross section in experimental studies has been modelled. First of all, nonlinear analyses of the model according to finite elements method have been done. In the Analytical study the package program, ANSYS has been used. Alternative assumptions have been made so as the experimental data to overlap with the analytical study results. The results obtained have been compared with the experimental data and theoretical analysis results. At the consequence of the study conducted, it was seen that the current version of the package program, ANSYS did not yield realistic results. As any results were not obtained especially after the peak point value, this was determined as one of the important deficiencies of the program.
